Two Poems from a Spleen
Imago’s Artistic Co-Director, Jerry Mouawad, continues his movement series with two poems from Charles Baudelaire’s Paris Spleen. “There is a vast unchartered terrain in the intersection of movement, dance and text – my muse is still in there somewhere. When I came across Paris Spleen, I was drawn to Baudelaire’s self-imposed poetic challenge of prose.” Jerry is a founding member of Imago and will feature Carol Triffle, Artistic Co-director and founding member in one of the two works.

Katching
This low-fi stop motion animation by Mona Huneidi explores fidelity and espionage in a jocular manner. Every day Spy leaves for work, where he engages in secretive “undercover” work and mysterious rites. Oblivious to a peculiar and unsavory character that clandestinely finds refuge in the cash register with his mate Houseboy, he is soon to find out that espionage is a multi-pronged path. Mona has been working with Imago Theater since the late 1990’s in preproduction, fabrication, media arts, props and set dressing for a variety of Imago shows. Past productions include Missing Mona, Pullman Car Hiawatha, The Caretaker, The Black Lizard,  ZooZoo, and many others.

Deep Grip
Kaician Kitko joins Kyle Delamarter in presenting a scene from Deep Grip, an in-progress audio play. The sudden choice to change the scene from an audio production to a theatrical one revealed interesting new avenues to explore in the finished script. Deep Grip is written by Kyle and Sean Pliska, and is the follow up project to their audio play Avon Ivan. Kyle has performed in shows at Imago since 2002, beginning with Biglittlethings, then international tours with FROGZ and ZooZoo, and several original works by Carol Triffle.

The Innerworld of the Outerworld of the Innerworld
Imago is pleased to welcome John Berendzen and Liminal, with co-direction by Camille Cettina Smicker, in an original piece based on the poetry of Peter Handke. John has worked as actor and sound designer on several Imago works including Hit Me in the Stomach, Not Not Not Not Enough Oxygen and The Black Lizard.

What's in the Box? (working title)
What’s in the Box explores curiosity and conflict through the lens of silent, masked theatre. This piece was created by Kaician Jade Kitko, who has been performing with Imago since the 2010 production Stage Left Lost, and is currently a member of Imago's internationally touring productions of ZooZoo and FROGZ!.
