Imago's Jerry Mouawad directs reknown performer Allen Nause, former Artistic Director of Artist Repertory Theatre, in the lead role of Davies in Harold PInter's Masterpiece The Caretaker opening Feb 27th at Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th. Jeffrey Gilpin will play Mick, one of two brothers who care and menace the enigmatic Davies. Gilpin was recently acclaimed in Imago's The Lover (also Pinter and also directed by Mouawad) Jacob Coleman, a founding member of PETE, Portland Experimental Theatre Company (which recently jolted the Portland theatre scene with their production of Richard III) will play Aston the lost yet enlightened brother who brings Davies home one day. As Mouawad accomplished with The Lover, he will attempt to do again with The Caretaker juggling humor and tragedy within the brilliance that is Harold Pinter.
